However, I have problems with his constant distinction between the Old and New Testaments. In the New Testament, Jesus is viewed as a Divine Warrior (Revelation) and I'm not sure Dr. Boyd has adequately come to terms with that book. Also, violence does appear in many of Jesus' teaching on judgment--which actually mirrors the violence in Revelation.
